 London 2022 GCCM

Carrier Community (CC) a global telecom club established in 2008, has successfully organized its 14th annual in-person global carrier community meetings (GCCM) on the 14th & 15th March 2022 in London at the ETC.venues, Houndsditch 133, EC3 London City.

A flagship event, which attracted more than 500+ Club Members representing decision makers from Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 operators globally meet and network during the two day gathering while utilizing the GCCM platform including evening networking receptions to meet, network with peers, explore new business opportunities, discuss latest market trends at the knowledge sharing panel sessions and showcase their latest products and solutions.

During the GCCM in London, CC convenes Telco members and Telco Ecosystem Partners from segments such as IOT, Data, Voice, SMS Messaging, Mobile, OTT/ Content Providers, VAS, Enterprise, Satellite, ISP, Data Centers and other related segments.

CC has used the event to bridge relations between members (predominantly from the wholesale telco service providers arena) and IOT, MVNO, MNO, Audio Text, Digital Cloud and Submarine operators. Edwin A.D. Van Ierland
Chief Executive Officer at iBasis

Edwin van Ierland leads the company's global sales organization and is responsible for developing and managing execution of the company's worldwide sales strategies. Edwin brings to iBasis more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications dating back to his years in the Royal Netherlands Air Force where he held various staff and operational management positions with responsibility for communications infrastructure, operations and policies.

Edwin was instrumental in the consolidation and integration of the worldwide sales organizations following the multiple acquisitions of Tofane Global - Altice International Carrier Services in France, Portugal and Dominican Republic in 2018, iBASIS in 2019 and NOS International Carrier Services in 2020.

Prior to joining iBasis in 2007 Edwin was managing director of KPN Global Carrier Services, the international voice business of Royal KPN N.V. Edwin was instrumental in the transaction between iBasis and Royal KPN N.V. that resulted in the merger of KPN Global Carrier Services into iBasis in October of 2007.

- You will need to book the PCR test before you travel.
You will not need to quarantine, unless the result of the PCR test is positive.

Approved COVID-19 vaccines and countries and territories with approved proof of vaccination:
You must have had a complete course of one of the following vaccines at least 14 days before you arrive in England:
Covaxin, Moderna, Janssen (single dose vaccine), Novavax (Nuvaxovid and Covovax), Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer BioNTech, Sinopharm Beijing, Sinovac-CoronaVac

If you were vaccinated with a 2 dose vaccine, or a combination of them, you must have had both doses to be considered fully vaccinated for travel to the UK.
This applies in all cases, even if you’ve recently recovered from COVID-19 and have natural immunity.
Those who have had COVID-19 and have only had one dose of a 2 dose vaccine must follow the rules for unvaccinated arrivals.
Where 2 doses of a vaccine are required for a full course, you can:
- mix 2 different types of vaccine from the above list, for example Oxford/AstraZeneca and Sinopharm Beijing
- have the 2 vaccinations under 2 different approved programmes, for example Australia and Japan, UK and USA, France and Canada
Single dose vaccines
If you had an approved one dose vaccine (the Janssen vaccine), you are fully vaccinated.

The proof of vaccination must have been issued by either:
- the UK vaccination programme
- the United Nations vaccine programme for staff and volunteers
- an overseas vaccination programme with an approved proof of vaccination for travel to the UK

You can verify your vaccination status in the UK passenger locator form if you are using either:
- the NHS COVID Pass
- the EU Digital COVID Certificate (EU DCC)
You should have your vaccine certificate available in case you are asked to show it.
