 London 2022 GCCM

Carrier Community (CC) a global telecom club established in 2008, organising its 14th annual hybrid global carrier community meetings (GCCM) on the 14th & 15th March 2022 in London at the ETC.venues, Houndsditch 133, EC3 London City.

A flagship event, attracting more than 500+ Club Members representing decision makers from Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 operators globally meet and network during the two day gathering. The LONDON 2022 GCCM empowers partners to utilize the GCCM platform including evening networking receptions to meet, network with peers, explore new business opportunities, discuss latest market trends at the knowledge sharing panel sessions and showcase their latest products and solutions.

During the GCCM in London, CC convenes Telco members and Telco Ecosystem Partners from segments such as IOT, Data, Voice, SMS Messaging, Mobile, OTT/ Content Providers, VAS, Enterprise, Satellite, ISP, Data Centers and other related segments.

CC intends to use the event to bridge relations between members (predominantly from the wholesale telco service providers arena) and IOT, MVNO, MNO, Audio Text, Digital Cloud and Submarine operators. To facilitate this CC will offer parallel executive panel and knowledge sharing sessions at London 2022 GCCM to enable attendees to meet, share knowledge, network and explore and close deals.  Members can also use the online meeting portal to directly schedule individual meetings with attendees.

Edwin van Ierland leads the company's global sales organization and is responsible for developing and managing execution of the company's worldwide sales strategies. Edwin brings to iBasis more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications dating back to his years in the Royal Netherlands Air Force where he held various staff and operational management positions with responsibility for communications infrastructure, operations and policies.

Edwin was instrumental in the consolidation and integration of the worldwide sales organizations following the multiple acquisitions of Tofane Global - Altice International Carrier Services in France, Portugal and Dominican Republic in 2018, iBASIS in 2019 and NOS International Carrier Services in 2020.

Prior to joining iBasis in 2007 Edwin was managing director of KPN Global Carrier Services, the international voice business of Royal KPN N.V. Edwin was instrumental in the transaction between iBasis and Royal KPN N.V. that resulted in the merger of KPN Global Carrier Services into iBasis in October of 2007.

Prior to joining KPN, Edwin was on the management team of Schiphol Telematics, which provides voice and data services to all companies involved in aviation operations at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. He also spent eight years as an officer in communications and operational command and control functions within the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Edwin graduated as an Airforce officer from the Royal Military Academy (Electronics) and has completed advanced study programs in Management, Business, and Information Systems.

If you are fully vaccinated

Before you travel to England you must:
- book and pay for a COVID-19 test – to be taken after you arrive in England
- complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England
If you’re in England for less than 2 days, you still need to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test.

After you arrive in England you must take a COVID-19 test. This is the test that you booked before travel. You can book either a lateral flow test or a PCR test. You can take the test any time after you arrive and before the end of day 2 at the latest. The day you arrive is day 0. If your test result is positive, you must self-isolate.
