CC is organizing its annual CC- MVNO 2020 Summit during the CEE GCCM in Berlin – Bringing networks and virtual wholesale operators together on 25th & 26th 2020 August at the Marriot Hotel. In partnership with global experts Red Dawn Consulting, we have developed a relevant agenda to stimulate collaboration between MNOs, MVNOs, IoTs, OTTs and Telco and Telco eco-system partners. Arun Dehiri is Red Dawn’s founder and Managing Director. He is a pioneering management consultant with 23 years of experience in media, telecoms, finance & management. Arun has spent 17 years in leading professional service firms including PWC, TMNG & Analysys Mason, grounded with 6 years of industry roles within BSkyB and Orange.
 
Arun originally founded a boutique consultancy in 2004, which was acquired by Analysys Mason where on the Executive Board, led its Telecoms Sector and was the Sales Director. Arun leads strategy development and delivery teams for blue-chip brands and early growth companies across the globe addressing strategic & operational requirements. Most comfortable at the white board, Arun inspires clients to realise corporate visions and personal aspirations by delivering his thought leadership in a clear, concise and considered manner.
 
He has developed strong C-level relationships and a trusted team of high performing consultants with both sales & operational capabilities.He has an exceptional approach to identify opportunities through market insights, listening to clients needs, and rapidly translating these into a solution framework. Biography

Ignacio García Comín has an Engineering degree from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales in Valencia (Spain). He also has a Postgraduate (PDG) from IESE of Navarra University.

During his professional career, he has held key positions as a leader with many international companies where he has faced digital transformation challenges.

He joined Telefónica International Wholesale Services in 2009 and now leads the Digital Solutions & Mobility Unit which includes IPX, Roaming Services, IoT, A2P Bulk SMS and RCS /Digital Messaging Services.

Melvin de Jonge
Senior Product Manager at SPARKLE
Biography

Melvin de Jonge is senior product manager in the Marketing division, dealing with the development and go-to-market of wholesale services for Mobile Operators worldwide, that vary from pure connectivity to disruptive solutions as Big Data reporting tools and security/protection services.

Prior to joining Sparkle, he worked for TIM Group from 1998 to 2009 gaining a deep experience in mobile value added services for retail markets in Italy and abroad. He was appointed in several marketing roles as innovation specialist, product manager and customer base analyst.

He started his career as an ICT consultant at KPN in The Netherlands.

Melvin holds an MSc in Econometrics & Operations Research from the University of Groningen (The Netherlands).

Danny Preiskel
Senior Partner at Preiskel & Co
Biography

Daniel is a co-founder of Preiskel & Co and has over 20 years’ experience working in the telecoms, media and technology sectors, advising across the globe.  He has been ranked for over 15 years in major independent research guides as one of the world’s leading communications lawyers.

He is particularly recognised for commercial and regulatory work in the UK and overseas. He also advises various clients (including a major Korean handset manufacturer) on international investments and acquisitions as well as on major privatisations.  Recent work includes advising a group of mobile operators and content providers in reversing a decision of a European telecoms regulator.  He has recently been advising Japanese and Middle Eastern mobile network operators on MVNOs as well as advising a range of MVNOs & MVNAs in various continents.  Daniel, together with his international team, typically advises companies on the legal aspects of their multi-national services, with an increasing amount of advice on cloud issues, software as a service, privacy and data retention issues.

Daniel Preiskel has chaired and is a regular speaker at prestigious international telecoms conferences and is on the Steering Committee of the MEF Privacy in Apps Programme that has attracted a fair amount of coverage in the press.

Daniel is a founder of the International MVNOx Association and former Vice-Chair of the IBA Communications Law Group.  He is a member of and provides regulatory input to the following industry associations: ISPA, ITSPA, MEF and FCS.  In addition, he and his team have advised the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and some of their member companies from a cross section of industries.

Previous experience includes working as an investment banker in Deutsche Morgan Grenfell’s telecoms team and heading telecoms and technology departments at two City law firms. He has also worked in the European Commission’s Competition Directorate on anti-trust matters in the telecoms sector. In addition to his broad range of TMT sector clients, he advises companies in a range of sectors including gambling & gaming, retail, energy and sport.

He has a MA in law from Cambridge University (Jesus College), speaks seven languages and has passed the SFA investment banking exams.

Bernhard Pusch
Head of Global Internet Strategy at Telstra
Biography

Bernhard Pusch is Head of Global Internet Strategy at Telstra.

Based in Paris, Bernhard is responsible for developing and driving Telstra’s Internet business and peering activities globally. He joined Telstra in 2005, and prior to his current role was responsible for developing the wholesale business in Continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as with European OTTs.

Bernhard has more than two decades of experience in IT and telecoms in Europe and Asia, spanning roles in sales, product management and marketing. Before joining Telstra, Bernhard was Sales Director for Global Accounts at Nortel, based in Hong Kong.

In November 2019 Bernhard was elected to serve on the supervisory board of AMS-IX (Amsterdam Internet Exchange) for 3 years.  He is currently a member of the finance committee there supervising reporting and forecasting processes.

Steffen Oefner
Head of the MVNO Business at Deutsche Telekom
Biography

Steffen Oefner is the heading the Mobile Wholesale Business Models team at Deutsche Telekom – Segment Europe. In this role, Steffen is responsible for Deutsche Telekom´s Mobile Wholesale business in the European footprint together with the local teams. This includes developing and implementing growth opportunities with existing and potential partners.

Prior to joining Mobile Wholesale, Steffen worked in multiple international functions at Deutsche Telekom. Before Deutsche Telekom, Steffen worked as a management consultant, specializing in business strategy, product and pricing related projects for numerous mobile and fixed-line operator across Europe. Steffen holds a Master in Economics from Philipps-University of Marburg.

Pal Beres
Market and Commercial Development Director at Türk Telekom International
Biography

Pal has a MSC degree on Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and an MBA degree from Budapest University of Economic Sciences. He worked for 10 years at Ericsson in various positions, including the Global Installation Engineering process owner position and also different marketing, and sales managerial positions. In 2012 he moved to the operators’ side, and worked for Vivendi Telecom Hungary, Invitel International, Pantel and finally Türk Telekom International. Pal has worked for TTI since the establishment of the company and was responsible for various sales assignments, then took the position of Procurement and Pricing Director and currently he is  the Market Development Director. He  has worked in this position for more than 4 years, being responsible for the TTI Group’s major development projects new submarine cable projects, high capacity multi-regional transit routes and overall supporting the establishment of new business partnerships.
